How to convert SVG to PNG
- Drop your SVG files into the box, or paste SVG code.
- Pick a size: 1×, 2× or 4× the SVG’s own size, an exact width in pixels, or a print size in inches with a DPI.
- Choose the background: transparent, white or any colour.
- Download each image, or all of them at once in a ZIP.
High-quality PNGs from any SVG
An SVG has no fixed resolution, so the PNG is drawn fresh at the size you choose: a 4,000-pixel PNG is as sharp as a 400-pixel one. Pick the size for where the image will be used, and the edges stay crisp. Step-by-step help: how to convert SVG to PNG.
When you need a PNG instead of an SVG
Print then Cut
Cricut and Silhouette print the picture from a flat image. A large PNG with a transparent background gives clean edges around every sticker.
Etsy listings and mockups
Marketplaces and mockup tools want PNG or JPG previews. Make them straight from your SVG at the size the listing needs.
Print shops
Pick the print size in inches at 300 DPI. The DPI is saved in the file, so the shop sees the size you meant.
Docs, slides and social posts
Many apps can’t place SVG files. A PNG works everywhere, and transparency keeps logos clean on any background.

Questions
How do I convert SVG to PNG?
Drop the SVG into the box above, choose a size (1×, 2×, 4×, a width in pixels, or a print size in inches), choose a transparent or coloured background, and click Download. It takes a second per file.
Is this SVG to PNG converter free?
Yes. It’s free, with no sign-up and no watermark, and it works in your browser on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook.
Is the PNG transparent?
Yes, by default. Whatever is empty in your SVG stays transparent in the PNG. Choose White or Colour if you want a solid background instead. JPG files can’t be transparent, so they always get a background.
How big can the PNG be?
Up to 16,000 pixels on the long side (about 50 megapixels in total, the most that browsers can draw). Because an SVG is made of shapes, it stays sharp at any size you pick.
What does the print size in inches do?
Type the width in inches and pick a DPI (300 is standard for print). Vectacle works out the pixel size and saves the DPI inside the file, so print shops and apps like Photoshop see the right physical size.
Can I convert several SVG files at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you like; the same settings apply to all, and you can download them one by one or together in a ZIP file.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The SVG is drawn into a PNG by your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
Why does the text in my PNG look different?
SVG text uses fonts by name. If the font isn’t installed on your computer, the browser uses a similar one. To keep the exact look, convert text to outlines (shapes) in your design app before saving the SVG.
