Terms of use

Last updated: 12 October 2026

By using vectacle.com you agree to these terms. They are written to be short and readable.

The service

Vectacle is a web tool that converts raster images (PNG, JPG, WebP) into vector files (SVG) and also offers PNG and PDF downloads. The conversion runs in your browser; on phones, tablets and slower computers it may run on our server instead, where the picture is processed in memory and deleted as soon as the result is sent back. Vectacle is free to use while it is new; if paid options are added later, these terms will be updated first and nothing you have already downloaded will change.

Your images and your files

You keep all rights to the images you open in Vectacle and to the files you create with it. We claim no ownership and get no licence to them, and we do not keep them. You may use the SVG, PNG and PDF files for personal and commercial work, including products you sell.

You are responsible for having the right to use the images you convert. Converting someone else’s logo, artwork or trademark does not give you the right to use it.

Fair use of the site

Please don’t try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy and resell the Vectacle website or its engine code. The open-source parts listed on the credits page keep their own licences.

No warranty

We work hard to make good vectors, but every image is different. Vectacle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Check your files before cutting, printing or publishing them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the site or the files it creates, including wasted material.

Changes

We may change the tool or these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top changes too. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
