How to vectorize a logo

  1. Drop the logo: a PNG, JPG or WebP, even a screenshot or a small file from a website.
  2. Let Auto choose, or pick Logo / 1 colour for a single-colour mark.
  3. Remove the background (on by default here) so the logo sits on anything.
  4. Zoom in on corners, thin lines and lettering, and compare them with the original.
  5. Download the SVG for your designer, printer or website, or a big PNG or PDF.

Built for logos

Straight lines stay straight

Lines, arcs and corners are fitted as real geometry, so edges don’t wobble the way most automatic tracing does.

Sharp lettering

Text is detected and traced with extra care: straight stems, round bowls and crisp corners.

Real gradients

If the logo fades between colours, the SVG gets a true gradient instead of a stack of colour bands.

Nothing stored

Your logo is converted and forgotten, with no account and no copy kept. Handy for client work.

Questions

Can it vectorize a very small logo?

Yes. Images under 1,000 pixels are first enlarged with a small AI model, which gives smoother, more accurate edges. The example above started as a 220-pixel PNG.

Will the text in my logo become editable text?

No. Letters are traced as shapes, which keeps them looking exactly like the original. To change the wording, retype it in the right font in a design app.

Will the colours match?

Vectacle picks the main colours from your logo and merges the in-between shades that blur creates. You can recolour any shape in a vector editor afterwards.

Can I use the SVG for print?

Yes. An SVG scales to any size without getting blurry. You can also download a large PNG or a PDF straight from Vectacle.

Is my client’s logo safe?

Yes. The logo is converted and then forgotten: Vectacle stores nothing, so confidential and unreleased work isn’t kept anywhere.
